Not particularly well. Sims 2 seems to be reasonably demanding. Have a look ata recent tom's hardware vga charts article. http://tomshardware.co.uk/2005/05/24/vga_charts_vi/page14.html The MX4000 is probably slower than the X300Se, to put it into perspective.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814103167 256MB PCI, 128-bit I think. That'll be about the best PCI vidoe card there is. How good's the rest of the system - The Sims 2 is reasonably demanding on CPU & memory, and without an AGP slot you're not looking at a top end model...
