Is there a program....

    ...that helps fix "overscanning"? I am having a bit of trouble with some anime that I want to burn to DVD and I cannot see the subtitles. If there are any programs that allow me to fix this, can someone please respond with the name of the program or a link? That would be MUCH appreciated.

    Are you converting these to DVD yourself? You don't need to fix it after the fact, you need to encode properly so that it fits the screen the way you want right from the get go.
    No quick fix for this I'm afraid. If you have the original AVI, re-encode them properly and try again. If you only have these flawed MPG to work with, you'll have to re-encode, add borders and take the loss in picture quality.
