PLEASE HELP->thanks in advance. okay, i am really new at this and i'm trying to take in as much information as i possibly can in a matter of time. i've downloaded DVD-RB ( I have DLed the CCE v.2.5.0 for this) , DVDFAB exress, and i have some sort of decrypter program called NCryp. because unfortunatly it is too late to dL DVD decrypter? unless somehow i figure another way to. but anyway, MY MAIN PROBLEM here is that when i run any kind of decrypter program ...what is the SOURCE FILE. i've read other forums and i've read something about having to transfer a file into an ISO file to be able to make it a source file? I know you have to decode the movie before you can burn it, then using DVD-RB. I also want to know if, IF i've dLed this movie onto my computer ( having no actual dvd ), am i still able to decode the movie? most likely the answer is yes. but i just don't want to be doing all this for nothing. I've been trying to decode and burn this movie, and its killing me here. SO. if i have to transfer a file into an ISO file, how do i do that? and is that what i have to do to be able to get the right source file?... thank you
Dude where do we start with this.......right First if you really want DVDDecrypter as a program go here http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ Its a bit outdated as a ripping tool, but if you want it, it's there for you dude. Next as a ripping and decrypting tool DVDFab express is very good. Heres a good link to a guide for DVD-RB http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/modules.php?name=FAQ&myfaq=yes&id_cat=1&categories= I don't use it but would presume there is a output option for an .iso file, i would use this as when you have turned it into an .iso all you have to do is right click on that .iso file, and you will have an option to "Burn using DVDDcrypter" then its just a case of choosing your speed ( try 4x )and clicking on the harddrive to disc logo. Next your source file is the file that you actually want to burn to the disc. It will either be an image file that DVDDcrypter supports ( such as an .iso,.mds or such ) or a VIDEO_TS. When searching for the file it will be wherever your ripping/coding program put it. Next ( dude really shouldn't talk about downloading movies on this site, its illeagle, just talk about backing up your own personal collection) However if you do come across these DL'd movies they will have already been decrypted prior to uploading ( whoever was uploading them would have had to rip them off the disc before they could upload it ) You shouldn't have to transfer the file to a .iso if you have set your output file in your transcoding tool correctly, remember when it says to back up choose the output file to .iso. If you have come across any non dvd files, such as .avi thats a different game altogether!!!!! Hope this helps a little dude
