An install of Acronis TrueImage backup software locked
up my Nero. It may have just locked up everything.
A little 'conversation balloon' came up and things locked
when I just clicked on Nero.

I uninstalled the program and things are back to normal.

Anyone working with Nero and Acronic TrueImage together,
    I'd appreciate some tips.

    thanks

They didn't play well together on my computer either.

All other Acronis apps play nice though. I have the Disk Director and Privacy expert Suites, and they work great.

    Ok, thanks.

I still have good ol' Norton Ghost for backup.

Acronis looks more jazzy but something must freeze it
    up.

Most backup proggies run in DOS from removable media.

There is some option for Acronis for CD but I yanked it
off so I could use my computer.

Does anyone know more about a bootable version made
from the Acronis installer to do simple disk to disk clones?
