    Hi all
I have a disc that I want to backup because the surface is damaged (stuck in portable player and a genius used a plastic fork to extricate it and No, really, swear, I would take it apart before I stuck something in it .... anywho....).
It plays only in a higher end component player and some other cheapo dvd players play some chapters, some not at all, etc.
I want to try and save what I can. I used 3.5.4 in both file and iso mode and both drives (got a new dru-810a in there this morning and a pioneer DVR-105) wont read the whole disc. I tried skipping some files thinking I could salvage SOME of the spongebobs on there but no dice it looks like files other than just the video are missing.
Any realistic way to repair the actual disc itself? As I say my best player does play this one through.
    Cheers
