DVD-R or DVD+R

    Hi,

    Have read that if you have a DVD+R you can only burn onto DVD+R discs and that DVD-R drives can only use DVD-R discs?

    Is this true? Only I used Nero's Info Tool and there are "ticks" on both types, does that mean I CAN burn onto both?

    Can someone please confirm if this is the case

    If you have 'ticks' in both the +R and -R boxes you have a hybred drive ... most drives nowadays are able to burn both formats
