I am looking to upgrade my machine and my options have been discussed on another thread. I want to go eventually down the PCI-E graphics card route but don't have the cash to upgrade all at once.
I have an old AGP XFX 6600gt graphics card which I was looking to use in the interim and the ASROCK supports both AGP and PCIE which sounds good and the reviews are good too.

I am looking at an AMD opteron 64 146 socket 939 processor
    1gb Corsair twinx ddr (pc3200)ram

Any opinions on performance gaming or components would be greatly appreciated, My ideal graphics card will be a 7900GT, will that run O.K on this setup or is it too quick for the motherboard ?

This is a wonderfull motherboard for those looking to keep there current setup and upgrade down the road. Not only does it have a PCI-e slot but has a CPU slot for a AM2 daughterboard and accepts a 940 adapter. Along with SATA 2 I cant see how this board can possibly be more future proof.

Before I shelved this board (no problems with it, got a good deal on newer intel chip) I was running a AGP x850 xt pe on it. 16 pipes 540/590 clock speeds and had no complaints.
