I got a copy of the standard edition from a friend who works at Best Buy, and it installed fine, but it doesnt do anything. It just sits there and gives the option of browsing for the movie, but the message that comes up is to locate the TS_VIDEO folder within the listing of My computer, my docs, shared docs, etc.... I have no idea what this means, what it is, and where to find it or how to create it. I looked for some help with this before posting, if I missed something, like a guide, sorry!
ICOPYDVDs2 Standard Edition ICOPYDVDs2 Standard Edition contains all you need to copy a complete DVD movie to a single disc, including menus, special features, and extra languages. The interface is simple and direct, just put in your movie, press "copy" and ICOPYDVDs2 does the rest! You can backup most movies in under an hour, less time than it takes to watch them! Our unique Auto Fit and Auto Burn technology creates the highest quality movie possible on a single disc every time! ok... this sounds like a one click copier! just pop the dvd into your drive..... and you should navigate (or it should do it automatically) to the folder on the drive that has the DVD movie! load it ... that's what your program is asking you to do..... load the movie folder! it should automatically load the DVD once you show it where to look for it! Then it should have a button to copy the movie! good luck.
Ok, but I am still confused, how do I navigate to the folder on the drive? Where would it be? When I start the program and insert the dvd to copy, I can hear it but nothing happens. I just don't understand your directions on how to load a movie folder. I am truly an ignorant newbie!
as I don't have your particular program I am only going on what was said on it's website! If it asks you to browse..... then navigate to your DVD drive where the DVD is! highlight it and then it should have a VTS folder.... highlight that and that's where the movie files are! I hope you understand that! If not you'll just have to ask your friend who installed the program to help you out!
Icopydvds2 requires that you leave the movie in the drive for a moment before it starts. The button that says browse will light up start. Make sure you are running dvd 43 or anydvd. The program will spit the disk out and enter a blank in. Again you will have to wait for the button to light up start. You do not need to navigate the folder on the drive Icopy does all of the work for you.
I Copy DVDs 2 is the easiest program to use. Simply follow the on screen instructions. Step 1) Insert a DVD movie OR click browse. If you are copying from a disk, you will NOT click browse. Just let the program detect the movie, then click "Start" The "Browse" feature is used when you are backing up a DVD from the hard drive. If this is the case, you will want to make sure that the movie is in a DVD structure (MPeg 2). I Copy DVDs 2 will not burn anything but DVD. Hope this helps.
