First off, hello all, and this is a wonderful and extreamly helpful website! I have been reading on here for months now and I have been able to get a well of information to get me started, but now I need to ask a couople of questions! I have been making backups flawlessly for a couple of months now, but here is the problem that I have come across. I use DVDFab, DVD Decrypter, and DVD Shrink. After I burn a backup there is a file that is made (I am not sure 100% what the file is, but it is a WinZip type file I believe). I wanted to make another backuo of a movie because my son broke a backup. I opened DVD Decrypter and opened the movie that I wanted to backup. It gets about 30-40% complete burning and it comes up with the following error:

    DVD Decrypter

    I/O Error!

    Device: [1:0:0]

    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 2A 00 00 16 OF AO 00 00 20 00
    Interpretation: Write (10) - Sectors: 1445792 - 1445823

    Sence Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 00 21 02 00 00 00 00 00 01 02 03 04 05
    Interpretation: Invalid Address For Write

And then the options that are given to me are either RETRY or CANCEL.

The thing is that I did this to another backup and it worked just fine. At first thought I had a bad disk, but I made a total of 5 coasters before I called it quits. I am using Verbadium media, and I am not 100% sure on the type of burner. I have not had any problems up until now. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance for your time!!

What beand and speed of media are you using?
At what speed are you burning?
What is the name/descripter that DVD Decrypter is providing for your burner as well as the firmware version (the 3 or 4 letter/number after the drive descripter)? This is usually the top line in the righthand window in DVD Decrypter.
