    Just got a liteon (LIN LVW5116GHCPLU Lite-On All Write DVD Recorder), and just wanted to know if n e one knows if its a good machine.

    I like my LVW-5005 recorders .. the drives are a little flaky but they're easy to replace ...

    so how would i go about changing it & what drive do u suggest?

    I wouldn't change the drive unless you're having problems .. The drives do last for several years and a ton of burns ...

    But, if you insist .. the regular LiteOn drives for a PC will work. Click on my user name and go to my profile page and read my blog entry for step by step instructions
