I just received some TYg02 8x's today and tried them out, WOW. I have been using some DVD-R's by Sony made in Tawain that I bought on sale at Best Buy for $14.99 and have had terrible scans, but they seem to play well and sound great. Today I used my first TYg02 and scanned it twice, the first time it came out at 83% scanned at 5x, then I scanned it again, just for the heck of it at 8x and it came back at 97%, go figure. I don't know why the difference. I use Nero and my Nec 3550A to scan with. I burn't at 4x, great quality on my stand alone DVD players and my Toshiba is fussy.
Yeah TY is the best media you can find!!! I will soon be buying some more as I am digging into my reserves... Only 25 more left!!
