i got a few problems and i dunoo if their related. 1. when i start up my comp it doesnt load the processes. like you can see em in task manager but it doesnt say the user name next to them like its supposted to except on "system idle process". 2. my internet ( before this happend) started running very slow, on all my computers not jus this one 3. my brand new dvd burner (dynex) doesnt read any disks. the computer recognizes it but not whats inside. im using xp sp2 thanks for any help also event viewer shows no problems
run some virus programs and check if anything is infectin your pc...did you do something for this to happen to the pc or did u just turn it on and it was like this....the drive not reading disc could be a firmware problem...
well i jus reinstalled windows but it was workin for a while before this happend. ima reset my bios and see how that goes. also do you know how i could update the drive firmware? thanks
just search google for the model number of your dvd burner firmware like sony dvd writer firmware something like that you will find a lot of results....
