Okay , my dad screwed up his computer and he had to get everything taken off of it and he had to put it back on. Well , today , he was on the phone with bellsouth and they told him to download this program. Well , he downloaded it and typed in his IP Address and the lady from Bellsouth took over! She had complete comtrol over his computer for 10 mins! And you could see what she was doing!. So , I was wondering if any kind of software like that was availible to the public. And , to make this topic actually ON-TOPIC , I was writing about this , because I just modded my friends xbox and his mom dont like it when I come over , so I could use this program to mod stuff for him from my house and he could see what I was doing. Does anyone besides me think that is AWESOME!?

Yeah it's remarkable what you can do with computers and computer networks. What you want is remote access. The best is gotomypc.com, but it's a paid service. There are other choices, but I've never tried them.

Its called remote desktop, on your PC goto Programs > Accessories > Communications-->Remote Desktop Connection, its free on every Windows XP computer and you can also, connect through MSN messenger as well. You'll just need to know one anothers IP address that you can obtain by entering whatismyip.com in your web browser.

The easiest way to accomplish what you want to do, is both parties log onto MSN Messenger then whoever needs the assistance, send the other a request for remote desktop assistance.
