try to build big enclouser of hdd with 10 harddrive in one pc case i have : 1. pc case with 10 bay in it 2. 10 hdd 3. power source to supply all the hdd 4. ide to usb cable see link http://www.cdrdvdrmedia.com/usb-to-ide-network-cable.html 5. usb hub with 10 ports I installed all the powr source in the case and hdd with the ide to usb cable to each one. all the usb connected to the usb hub. The hub extened one usb to outside the pc case. now I need to connect the on/off swith of the case to power supply so with one thouch all the hdd will turn on. and the will be connected to single usb. with wire to be connect from the power supply to the power on/off on the case? this will let me view all the hdd with one thouch note: there are no motherbord, cpu, or ram in the pc case anyone
i found this cool stuff you can connect upto 4 harddive 4-channel SATA PCI Bracket Backplane http://store.yahoo.com/cooldrives/sapciadsaian.html the only problem is how power all the harddrive since it is SATA and the most power suply comes with only 2 SATA I need to find someight like a power spliter that can me 4 pin to 4x SATA power
