I need some help, i just purchased a motherboard and cpu, my cpu is a pentium 4 2.8 supposedly with hyper threading it has a front side bus of 533. My motherboard does support hyperthreading but it doesnt show up to enable in the bios. I email the company that makes the motherboard and they said that hyperthreading is for P4's with 800FSB only. But it clearly states on the box of the cpu its hyperthreading. What do you guys think any help would be great
From what you said it sounds like there saying the motherboard will not support hyperthreading unless your cpu has a 800 mhz bus speed and your cpu has 533 mhz.
yes, but people are telling me that the only processor with hyperthreading thats a socket 478 and has 533fsb is a 3.06 can someone help me with this did i get screwed where i bought the processor
