I had an old webcam that went dead and I have an old headset with mic that use standard stereo outputs. I was wondering how to splice this together to make the headset USB.

The headset is the easy part, 2 wires... but the USB cable... theres 6 inner cables, black - green - red or orange - white - blue - yellow.
I believe the blue and yellow were for the cam only, not sure. Just wondering which color wire goes spliced to the mic, and which to the speakers.

    All help is appreciated.

black/green/white/red go to a strip with white box around them. They are unlabled. Blue goes to a sperate connection, again unlabled.
I forget where the yellow connected. I took it apart and cut the wires off a while earlier.
I figured since most wires are colored universally for each of their own purposes that these wires would be the same.
