Hi. I have Toshiba DVD Recorder and a lot of Disney Videos. I want to transfer them to DVD but unfortunatly I can't do it as my recorder says "Copyrighted Material" What can I do against it? Thank you.

If you have a second vcr, send it through it before sending it to the dvd recorder. Use the a/v cables, not the coaxial cable. I have successfully copied dvd from my player through my vcr to my dvd recorder. So it may be worth a shot.
Also many older VCRs don't have the copy protection recognition built-in. If you have a lot of transferring to do, see if you can't locate an older one that works at a video repair shop, etc. It should be cheap and the repair person should know whether it'll do what you want. In the old days people did a lot of VCR copying without problems.
i think if you own the original recording it is legal to make a back up. get a box called "godvd" at circuit city or best buy for 100$, it will solve your problems. sometimes it's on sale for 65$. compusa always advertises them on sale but don't ever have them in stock, so take thier ad to the other stores and get a price match.
I got my GoDVD by Sima at tigerdirect. I think it was around $69. Have copied dozens of VHS tapes now, not a single one wouldn't copy. Raymond
i forgot, circuit city now only sells the advanced godvd which is 150$ , so try best buy or make sure compusa has one in stock before going there.
Sima products are very expensive - 129$ and more. I have also found a relatively big number of bad references to Sima especially in what is related to video quality. I have recently ordered the DVD Red PRO from Dimax at http://www.xdimax.com/dvd/dvdredpro.html and received it very quickly. Dimax device is working flawlessly, I do mean it, without any problems and it is very cute and sexy. I'm wary happy with it. Thanks to everybody who guided me to make the right decision.
I found a scart lead that has a microchip in it at one end that cuts-out the macrovision signal before it gets to your DVD recorder. Works like a charm. Can't remember the website I'm afraid.
