radeon 9800 pro 128mb

    When playing call of duty 2
    thghost recon advanced war fighter

    I have it on low as possible and still sticks non stop surely the card cant be that bad

    i even wiped my harddrive and clean installed the x0p but it still the same

    p4 3ghz
    512 mb drr 3200 ram
    160gb hard drive

    just done a test for call of duty 2 and every thing seems good apart from this

    Minimum: Pentium 4 or Athlon XP equivalent
    You Have: 2 processors running - Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz

    i only have one proccesssor though and the other thing whats low is windows xp service pack on but all rest are full exept or one under

    also windows xp sp 1 is just above minimum i need help

    why are they all jerky but most games i have played on this pc b4 like doom 3 have been flawless

    hyper threading cpu makes it appear as 2 but is only 1. can do multi tasking at once

    but do you know why call of duty is lagging like hell and crashing even after formatting also ghost recon what is even worse.

    is it graphics or memory or processor

    check game sites for updates, patched & faq. do you latest video driver installed from videocard site?

    I tryed them all does service pack two make a difference.

    Some one said 512mb is not good enough to play newer games on xp is this true

    depends on how much ram is free before the game is started.
