no sound

    about a month ago my ipod jus decided not to play any sound any more... does anyone know what could be wrong or anything that i can do to fix my problem.. i already reset it, restored it... so is there anything else??

    have you tried updating it to the new firm wire? That might fix it

    oooo never mind.. u meant firm ware...and yea i did... but ill try it again.. and the other things people say to try..so thanks.. if anyone knows of anything else please tell me..

    does the lack of sound occur just with video files, or is it music aswell?

    its everything... videos, music, podcasts.. i dont get sound for anything

    but i figured out the problem... but i have to send my ipod to apple and then ill get a new one, if they dont/cant fix it... caz its something inside the ipod that is broken or something..
