ibook g4 14"

Hi im thinking about buying a mac g4 ibook, i will use it for coursework and other things like just sufing the internet, normal things like that. Should I get the mac or should i opt for a windows laptop?

 

Why do guys have to come into the "MAC GENERAL DISCUSSION" and make postings that basically asks the question of whether or not they should get a "MAC"?! Isn't it pretty obvious what most of us are going to tell you to get?

Besides, who would want the ugly, virus ridden (114,00 last year) computer, which never has new system software from Microsoft because they're stuck trying to copy all of Apple's new developments (Widiget<Gadgets, Spotlight<Searchlight, Tabbed Browsing<App Switcher, etc.). Some people just don't have brains.

Apple last week started production of the new MacBook which is replacing the iBook so if I were you I would wait for it.

The MacBook will have the same price as the current iBook. Do not confuse the MacBook with the MacBook Pro.

- MacBook substitutes the iBook

- MacBook Pro substitutes the PowerBook

Anyway, production started last week and is expected to be announced as early as next Tuesday.
