help with ram compatability!!

    will any two 256 ram sticks work together? i have an existing 256 ram stick for a laptop and was looking at buying another 256 stick, i have upgraded the ram already on another laptop, but just bought two 512 sticks, cheers

    should but will run at the slowest speed of the 2 sticks unless both are same speed.
