Recently my computer has begun to take very long when it is initially booting up. I am unsure what the problem could be. Is it possible that I have been infected with some sort of virus? I do a scan with both adaware and Norton and nothing comes up. After the screen that pop up with the windows logo, the screen goes black for several minutes, then jumps to the "welcome" screen. A couple days back when booting up my computer, I accidentally pressed something before the bootup was complete. It brought me to a screen with some text and options on it, not sure if it was the bios screen. Since I had no idea what the heck it was I tried to get out of the screen. I am not sure if I changed something and I can not get back to that screen. I think I pressed CTRL-ALT, or CTRL-A. Is it possible that something was changed here causing the boot to take so long now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    Download - CCLeaner.

Chances are you have a hell of a lot of stuff starting up with your computer which you can stop with this program.

Also, next time you get to a screen like that, just manually reboot :)

I already run CCleaner a couple times a week, so it can be that. I think it is taking so long even before windows actually loades. It use to have text at the start up about my video card then boot to the windows logo and to the desktop. Now there is no text about the video card, starts at the windows logo, goes black for a couple minutes, then to the desk top. I'm not sure what is happening.
