must be a bad lead tippy, if you know someone else that has a receiver try flashing theirs and see does it work.

Im almost afraid to ask this, as I genuinely have been going thru the threads for hours, and I know people get slaughtered for being lazy and just asking instead of looking, so here goes (I know - Im waffling already!) :
Had a Eurovox 2007 red in a Telewest area. Worked great, but moved house so sold it.
Now Im in a house that has an NTL Glasgow feed.
Got myself a Eurovox Max V 2008, and flashed with the unified flash loader Kuro 28/4/08 firmware. But, I have no idea of the symbol rate for NTL Glasgow, and yes, I have went thru thread after thread - all I can find is the 6.875 for Dublin, so, basically any help would be appreciated.

You need to flash with the 18/04/08 firmware as the version you have used is for signal problems. Your symbol rate is 6887 ;)

If I reset to factory settings on my eurovox does it delete any firmware that I have put on it??? I ask this as I had been missing ch4, sky 1 and a few other channels so I reset factory setting and did a power scan, I have some channels but some say codes updating please wait, is this because the latest firmware I had is gone? If so what can I do about this??

no it dosn't delete any firmware,any channel thats off air at the moment ie bbc3 or 4 will display the message code updating

if you loose channels you can just do update channels rather than a factory reset cant rembmer now as ive not had to do it for a while but think its the red button when you go into the menu you need the channel menu ( sorry if im wrong - someone will correct me)
