I have never seen this before. Everything used to work just fine. Using dvd shrink with Nero. The only thing I could see giving it a problem would possibly be windows sp2 or something like that, maybe a virus. This is the error I get from Nero. I have the actual "real" disc and have all the new updates. This is a buggy version of Nero, uninstall it, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html and then install this older bug free version from here http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe These need to be on, go here for guide to turn on http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 These are horrible discs, try some Verbatim or Sony that are made in Japan Your firmware is behind, update from here http://www.liteonit.com.tw/ODD/WebFW/SOHW-1633S/DR16BS0Y.zip latest is BSOY
