My NEC ND3550a 1.05 Dual Layer burner uses about 51% cpu processes when burning at 8x speeds. Anyway I can reduce this? Can downloading NEC latest firmware updates help? I have closed any open programs and even disabled my virus protection software while burning but no luck. I know going to a lower speed will help but I like the 8x speed. PLus I want to reduce cpu usage percentage at 8x speeds because I want to sometimes make two copies at the same time. Along that thought- how do you make multiple copies using two or more internal burning drives on your pc?
Need to also know- how do you make two or more copies of the data disk at the same time using 2 or more internal drives? I have never done so but wish to learn.
In order to make dual copies simultaneously, in Nero, just check the box at the final burn option screen, "Use multiple recorders".
