ok.... Crouch57...... I just did Grandma's Boy.... with DVDRebuilder Pro and ripped with AnyDVD!!...... and what's the prob here!? Mine came out just fine. Only took 70mins! Why yours didn't is beyond me...... what version of Rebuilder do you have? if it's the free version then ANGLE and/or INTERLEAVING movies won't do... and Gandma's boy has angle and/or interleaving in it! soooooo again..... what version do you have?

I used to use a combo of DVD Dcrypter and Shrink for my back ups. Lately I have been having trouble backing up movies. Is there a new combo of backing up? What is DVDrebuilder and AnyDVD? Got a link somewhere I can try?

AnyDVD and CloneDVD is a great combo that most people love! it's always updated, unlike DVDDecrypter or Shrink, and easy to use. The combo of DVDDecrypter and Shrink are still great but, like I said, they don't get updated anymore so the newer movies will be a problem with that combo. Or you can use DVDFab Decrypter just like DVDD it will do the same job in decrypting even the newer movies then you can use Shrink as normal! here is the link for DVDFab Decrpter:

here is the link for AnyDVD and CloneDVD2, for a free trial:

    Crouch,

Does the movie play back ok on your pc from your hdd?

    godzilla,

dvdrebuilder is part of the best software available for making backups. It also needs some encoding software but the free installer vs comes with a couple free encoders (hc encoder and QuEnc) bundled in. You can also buy other retail encoders to work with it such as cce or procoder. There is a link to dvdrebuilder in my sig. DL the installer vs. Here's a couple of guides http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=54897 and http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=55302

Anydvd is a driver based ripper utility that runs entirely in the the background removing css encryptions. It also incorperates its own rip to hdd feature.
