i am in the USA after getting a phone in canada, and LG 2000 from Fido, now i need to buy a new phone if i want to get a sim card here, i just want an unlocking code so i can use my LG phone, but fido say i have to pay $200 if i want to, someone help IMEI#-010564-00-033613-4 bought in Vancouver from fido.. thanks in advance
while you are in the USA, maybe you should send it over to www.iunlock.com and they can unlock the phone for you. I believe they charge anywhere between 20-30 dollars. In the meantime, you can possibly get a nokia 6010, real cheap phone for about $40 at Walmart or even Kmart, have it unlocked and use it. Good luck.
