I can't get my rig to see my new WD 250GB SATA2 hard drive. I am already using an 80GB seagate SATA as my master drive.

    System info:

    AMD 64 2800
    Asus A8V Mobo
    ATI 2800 Pro 256

    Please Help!

    Thanks.

Does it show up in your bios,if so does it show up in disk management?
    To check disk management...
    Right click-my computer
    Left click-manage
    left click-disk management
Here's a link that helped me once, don't worry about hte brand it's the same for all hard drives http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/howto/install_xp_disk_mgmt.html
    Good luck.

You'll need to firstly make sure the sata port is enabled in the BIOS.
You may also need to go into the raid setup and set the drive to jdob, depending on which controller it is attached to.
Then you need to get the drive formatted and partitioned, easiest way is to use lifeguard tools from WD download.
