hi i was just wondering if anyone could tell me the easiest way to do this.

i have a laptop and this desktop and the laptop only has a 40gb hard drive so i bought an 80gbexternal for it (just a standard usb one) and this computer has 120, i have a wireless link setup between the two, to share files and so on. i need more space on this one so i was thinking of using the external drive on this computer but i want to keep the files going to the laptop when its turned on. is it possible if i put the hd on this computer and then just put a link to the shared folder of it, or (im guessing)that cant be done so anybody just have a simple solution.
also any way of avoiding the 15gb of music in the itunes library from having to delete them all and restart it coz the directory changed.
(basically just want to have the hard drive going to both computers through the shared folder when both r turned on)

You should be able to share the external. Sounds like you answered your own question. Right click on the drive in my computer, select sharing. Don't know about the I tunes.
