Problems burning

    Hi, I have been having trouble burning shrunk files from my computer to DVD (I don't have nero so have to go the long way!). After file has saved and I try to burn it I get error message saying that program has encountered an unexpected error and has to shut down. Any ideas what could be doing this? I have successfully burnt 2 dvd's and had this error with at least 7 others.

    We need more information.
    What program ripped the movie?
    Did you re-author the movie?
    What burning software are you using?
    What type of media are you using?

    I have been using DVD shrink 3.2 and have recently downloaded AnyDVD to try. I have tried backing up whole DVD and re-authoring, doesn't seem to make much difference. The burning program came with my computer and is called Sonic DigitalMediaLE. I am using TDK DVD-R at the moment but have also tried DVD+R. Not sure if this is related but today I also started receiving CRC error messages when trying to authorise a couple DVD's. I really am a novice and have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

    Using Dvd Shrink, save your files to an ISO file. Then burn the ISO file with ImgBurn (freeware).

    Burning your DVDs at 4X will yield good results. Depending on your burner, you mat be able to change your booktype from dvd+r to dvd-rom.

    I thought I'd try this and have successfully downloaded ImgBurn but can't get ImgTool Classic to run. I am trying to follow the tutorial on this site "How to burn a DVD Folder with ImgBurn" but are having trouble selecting the Source Directory. As far as I can see I've done as it says to with creating folders but I keep getting error messages saying it can't find the VIDEO_TS file. I don't know what to do.

    ImgBurn doesn't burn files in folders. It burns image files. The file must be an ISO file.
