dvd to avi ripper

    is there a free program that will rip dvd to avi?

    First off, your in the wrong forum, but ill help u anyways...


    You can use a program that is called DVD Decrypter which is free but it doesnt convert you dvd into AVI format, it will only rip your DVD.

    He's not in the wrong forum and i need help with this too. How do you rip a dvd so that it will be in avi format so that i can convert into "ipod" format mpeg4.

    As Waymon3X6 suggests, download the DVD Decrypter and run the DVD through it. Then, it will make a VOB file that can then be converted to the iPod using Videora iPod Converter.

    Additionally, you can get Cucusoft DVD to iPod Converter or PQ DVD to iPod Converter to rip it directly into the iPod Mpeg-4 format.
