    Greetings everyone.

Well, I just imported what I consider to be the greatest Gamecube game ever made.

Since this is my first console import, I also had to purchase the Freeloader CD.

I'm probably going to sound like a retarded gorilla for asking this question but I rifled through almost all of the forum pages and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Anyway, should I have also imported a memory card as well or are all memory cards the same?

    Thank you.)

no but you should get another memory card

the reason is because the game came from another country it saves the game in the save format for that country so if you purchased a game from japan it will save in japanese but if you use the save on a memory card with us saves it will format your memory card to work with japanese saves only

so just purchase another memory card cheap like a 59 block or something like that

The only Japanese games that format US memory cards are the Donkey Konga games. I have North American, European, and Japanese game saves all on a single memory card (USB 16x) and it works fine.
