Hi everyone. Well, I went to Europe, and accessed my email a few times from an unsecure wireless access point, and I may have caught a virus or something. All I know is every day now, I get at least 15 messages in my email inbox saying mailer daemon failure delivery or failure notice. The message is always sent to random email addresses of people I have never heard of. Obviously I am not sending these messages, and I have done several virus, malware, and spyware scans with no luck on my machine. Does anyone know how I can stop this? I am using Trend Micro PC-Cillin 2006, AdAware SE Pro, Arovax Shield, Spyware Terminator, Spybot S&D, and Spy Sweeper on a regular basis. Thanks, Lifeguy
OK, so I booted in safe mode to do a scan, and the first screen asked me whether I wanted to log on as Administrator or as my name....as far as I know, I only have one log in account, which is listed under my name, and I am the administrator. Also, when in safe mode, I am unable to do a virus scan with PC-cillin. It says something about an error occured and to restart and try again...but no luck.
