Just wondering if it's possible to combine a TV series 6 disc set to fit 3 DVD-R's. Is this possible at All. Thanks For any help.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend it since there will be a significant loss of video quality. Just compressing a DVD9 to a DVD5 results in significant loss since compression will be a little above 50% usually. Compressing 2 dual layers to one single layer will result in crap for the most part. TV series are already encoded with a little less quality than the typical movie, fitting at least 3 hours to a disk.
