Magic 3.1 vs Messiah 2 Pro vs DMS 3

Okay, all I want to do is play backups. I don't care about extra features ( media players, macrovision...) My question is, are there any advantages between these three chips in terms of playing backups? Like can the Messiah 2 play games that the magic 3.1 cant, or are they pretty much even? Does the upgradability of the DMS 3 chip allow it to circumvent protection schemes that may come up in the future, or does it only allow it to install apps? I guess what I'm asking is, which chip is most compatible with backups? I dont ever plan on upgrading again so I'd like a chip that would work well into the future.

It just depends on how much do u want to spend on these modchips
Likely if u want to buy a cheap one go for magic 3.1
Its a good chip
Secondly the one i suggest u is the messiah 2 pro
And finaally the best one of all is the DMS3
Its a cool chip
But i would suggest u to wait till june 1 cause a new chip is coming with a better code than messiah 2 pro
It will play everything u dumb in it
It will be a cool chip

I cant compare them cause I havent tried em all
but my trusty M3.1 has played every backup I made cdr's and dvd's
well over 30 by now pal and ntcs
japanese european and us
so I would say go for the magic
more bang for the buck without all the extra glitter

Yoda x pleez tell me was soldering the chip easy
I hav heard a lot of issues with magic 3.1
Y r those issues emerging
Is it due to bad installation or media
And by the way which media do u use for ur games

the problems are mostly from bad installation.not from the chip.
I have had no problem with the chip.
I didnt install it myself but yes it is very hard to install you should get it done professionally.

Can Someone Help me plz?
I have the DMS3 modchip install but i can't make my explorer to run and install on my ps2.
I d/l the explorer from www.dms3.com and its a zip file, i open it with the alading xpander and burned on a cd-r with nero, what im doing wrong? this is happend with the upgrade v1.2 and v1.3 too, but the v1.0 i have no problem the ps2 read the cd-r and open the dms3 upgrade menu but the others cd-r(explorer upgrade v1.2,1.3) the ps2 read it recognace it as ps2 games but can load the menus.
any advace???????????
