    has anyone ever made their own custom SDRam chipset or at least replaced the ram banks on the board with ones that have larger mem? I'm looking for a way to upgrade my sons PC by using a couple left over parts or some perhaps pieces of some donated by people at work. I would prefer to do-it myself rather than go down to Best buy or whay have you to buy larger ram. Love hands on and learning! Any suggestions?
