PC to TV

    I have my laptop setup to my tv and it shows everything fine accept when i try to play a video the video shows up on laptop but not on the tv. The tv just shows the windows media player with a blank screen

    Have you double checked all the connections? Are you running the wires correctly from your video card to your television?

    try adjusting your resolution change.(ie 800x600 ...)

    It's your setttings. You should tinker with your TV-Out settings and something should eventually work. Depending on your graphic's card driver or program you're running, sometimes there's no direct clone for video and it will only show up on one media output.

    dkang is correct. Try checking your video settings. Rightclick desktop > properties > settings > and then configure you tv out settings. make sure that it is active and that you have dual monitor support. It should tell you to choose monitor 1 and monitor 2 (usually the TV set). Hopes this helps,
