   I put in underworld which i just rented, it waits 10 seconds nothing loads then it spits it out. I have never had a DVD drive open back up by itself. The Disc is clean as a whistle.
   
   any ideas

   If it only does it with this particular DVD then take it back and get another. You did try other DVDs....right?
