Regedit and ctrl+alt+delete not working ~ HJT Log included.

    Hey, went on my PC couple of days ago and tried to end some apps via ctrl+alt+delete but as soon as I opened it it would freeze for a split second then close on me.

    The exact same thing happens with regedit.


    They both work in safe mode.

    Hey Cill :)

    Your running a anti virus, which is good, but you have no software firewall.

    Please install a firewall(if you have the XP firewall enabled please disable it after the instalation by going Start > controll pannel > Security Center > Firewall OFF)

    I reccomend that one :)

    Thanks for the reply but I really dont see how installing a firewall over this virus (Which I am quite sure is the begin2blablabla one)


    This does give a short-term fix but as all good things come to an end; so does ZoneAlarm's 15 day trial.

    You had no firewall so I told you to install Zone alarm free, I didnt say this was the fix!
