Hey, Im sure some of you know me from helping me spec out this comp last night i upgraded it but now it doesnt seem to want to boot!! What happens when i turn it on is: Cpu fan spins Chasis Fan spins All LEDs Start No display Abnormal bios beeping which goes Three short and 1 long beep . I have An asus A8N Sli After it has beeped it adds one more short beep on later. Please help me this is a huge let down!
Is the motherboard properly instulated? Are all the little rubber standoffs on the motherboard where they're supposed to be? Make sure your PSU is fully connected and check to maake sure all of your different cards in all your slots are fully seated in the slots. *edit* also, is there adequate thermal paste on your CPU? sometimes it dries up and when you take off the CPU it crumbles away. I've had that happen to me. I start up and the mobo beeps, fans spin and stuff but it wont turn on.
