I was wondering. I'm putting together a computer for my buddy from school. He wanted a certain motherboard but it has no onobard video. I will be installing an X800GT on it though. Without onboard video to begin with how do I go about this? Do I install XP then reboot in safemode? Will I be able to see anything while I'm going about this?

    Thanks for the help guys.

All you do is put the Video Card in the Slot....Make sure you get the right kind...Ex.AGP/PCI/PCI-E

Once yo put it in the slot that is all you need to do...YOu have video.....Then after you install XP then you can load the drivers and stuff
