I'm pretty much an amateur when it comes to dvds on computers, so this could potentially be a stupid question, but is there a way to make a DVD drive regionless/region 0? Some piece of hardware or software that could do that? It doesn't have to be freeware or anything, though hopefully under $200. Both my computers, though, are laptops, so if it's hardware, is there something that would work in a laptop? Thanks!
AnyDvd by SlySoft is what you want, it tricks the OS into think that the drive is region free. This is top software rated by lots here... http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html It is well worth the money, I can assure you of that!
you can also check www.rpc1.org they have a lot of hacked firmware which will make your drive region free
