Also a fatal flaw i feel is theres not enough to do with your money. Apart from going to eat / paying tolls, weapons taxis and clothes. Theres nothing.
I feel that they've tried to make this one far too real. I mean i loved owning san andreas and having a unbelievable jet pack. And an airstrip.
You hit the nail on the head. They've gone on record with saying that they wanted this to be more realistic (not too realistic, I mean, c'mon lol). That's why they did away with the mansions, landing strips, helipad, etc. Aside from the insanely rich residents of the Hamptons, these helipads and landing strips generally don't exist in the five boroughs.
That's probably why the pay for jobs is toned down. Not to give anything away, but if it wasn't for that one specific mission, I wouldn't have the six figure loot that I have.
I do agree though. We should be able to do more with the money we have.
I'm about 35% into the game with about 27 hours played.

yea, that mission definately increased my bank. i havent tried yet but can prolly buy stuff off the classifieds. they leave numbers on there for you to call. try spending your loot their.

a tip to get nice cars fairly eearly in the game
complete brucies missions then once done ring him for races when u need new cars. u must have a gun. dont start the race instead go up to the car that u want and shoot the guy in the head u will not be able to steal it while the race is still on. that is why u must shoot him then the race will abandon then u will be able to steal it.
your relation ship with brucie will go down a bit but its worth it.
ps. how do i dump michelle?

I just got a Mad Catz bluetooth headset for my ps3 to play GTA 4 but it doesn't work in the game...Anyone Please help me!

I love how you fall out the front windscreen in high speed crashes.
Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop-heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.

Is anyone else finding it a tad annoying when you got near full health but crash badly on a motorbike and die instantly?
Again, its all too real for me :-(

Yes however you should have the option to put a seatbelt on, :) as it can be very annoying when you die because of it on a hard mission.
Also does anyone know how to hold on to driving veichels. I have seen it in the second trailer where Niko (and it is Niko for sure) holding on the back of a cluckin' bell truck. I know that pedestrians can hold onto your veichel if you drive off and they are holding onto the handle of your car.
Anyone know how to do this?

I noticed if you control your character as he is flying through the air and try not land on you neck, you dont lose as much health..

Yeah I never got the point of all those unboxing videos unless someone is too into roleplaying and likes to pretend to be the person doing the unboxing.
And theres 2 things I've been woundering.
1.)Is there a specific reward for killing all 200 pigeons or is it simply to make it harder to get 100%?
2.)Are there multiple endings? Just a yes or no, I don't want you to put your ending down and potentially spoil an ending for me or anyone else.

I read somewhere that there are multiple endings
I’m pissed that I had the choice to kill one of two people, I chose one and now I cant use him to send me back-up gangbangers... and the other just said, "that’s cold I cant do business with you"?? So I got nothing!!
