    I don't think it is a flash game, it's a file (the game) being loaded by a java applet.

    You could simply save all the elements involved and then embed it into your own .html file, or just save the existing one (and remove the ad links etc).

    What to do if the swf file is embeded in the following format,

    document.body.innerHTML+="<embed "+_4d+" src=\""+_27.replace(/\.js(\?.*)?$/,".swf")+"\" type=\"application/x-shockwave-flash\" />";

    Please help me in this regard.

    Hey,

    Here's one: http://www.hogdb.com/2010/11/27/highlight-video-arkansas-31-lsu-23/
    I tried downloading the .swf file 1.1M and when open it up in vim and filter to hex edit, i can't find any of the variable names in it. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough or in the right place. You can use the "share" button on that video to get the embed html info out of it, and that might help. Also, view this link for another site that has it: http://www.arkansasrazorbacks.com/mediaPortal/player.dbml?catid=4705&id=737091

    Its not just this team that has the problem, looks like every college football team using xos networks is using this player. Seems to me they are using a flash player that doesn't buffer and hides the url in the player itself, so I can't figure how to get at the actual file...

    Can you help?

    Thanks in advanced,

    Yes, still monitoring. Which URL do you want to capture?

    @ Biertje that's great! I spent a few hours on this but I am not a coder, I'm more into the network side of things. The link is: http://www.thenewsroom.com/details/4204221

    I've tried every trick I know plus a few from here with no luck.

    I hope you do better than me! LOL

    Thanks for your help,
    John

    @OHThatGuy:

    It can be done with Replay Media Catcher:

    http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/demo.php

    I used to have the full version via adamryan, but don't have it anymore.
    I'm sure he will share it with you when you ask him.

    Good luck!

    I'm a newbie here looking for some help grabbing a Brightcove-hosted file. I know downloaders don't work - Brightcove is a pain in the butt - and I'm not super familiar with source code.

    I tried looking at the cache file, no help there...maybe the correct .swf file is there and my limited technical knowledge can't tell which one it is. Anyway, I found this forum and wondered if someone here could help, maybe even teach me how to nab these little buggers myself. Thanks so much!

    Video I'm trying to grab: Breakfast Television Toronto

    Hi I would like to ask for some help in getting the video from the following link:

    http://www.scai.org/Courses/Curricu...h.aspx?u=d17f7312-fe00-412d-9cb8-c76c2802cb33

    I've tried various methods such as replay media catcher, wm recorder, streamtransport, file2hd, and download helper in firefox, but all to no avail. I found the following link

    http://www.scai.org/resources/courses/Module 1/Unit_1-1/player.html

    in the source page of the above link and it plays if you paste it into the address bar but I am still unable to record.

    Any help would be much appreciated thank you.
