please can anyone help i have a softmodded xbox 1.6 the other day i used the autoinstaller 3.0 to install xbmc as my dash when i rebooted i get error 21 i have tried putting the original spliter cell in (which is the original game save i used) it wont boot i have tried halo 2 it wont boot also if this helps when there is no game in the drive i the white microsoft logo appears below the x then the xbox seems to try and load the original xbox dash and goes to the error 21 screen service required etc. i am wondering as i have another xbox hd from a failed modchip attempt and backed it up before the mod attempt as it was softmodded and have the backup of the xbox i have now is there any way i could change the files on the old hd ie the eprom and password to the new hd backup files so that i could take out the hd from the xbox that wont boot and just replace it with the mod attempt one as that was working fine until the mod attempt? i am just wondering if that would be enough to trick the xbox into beleiving that nothing has changed
