Czech Republic will win!
Afterall they have the best midfielders in the tournament e.g. Poborsky and Nedved, 1 fast wee shit in Baros and a lanky f*ck in Koller up front!

Also Czech have the best defence along with Italy and France!
What about Brazil's defence that's right they're all attackers just another place to put them, as you can't have all outfield players up front!

I don't know anything about football (soccer) but they did something of a comedy piece on US New Broadcasts concerning how much it will cost in work absenteeism around the world. They joked about how managers won't discipline employees because they're not at work either. It was pretty funny. Aparantly, this is the world's larges and most televised events!

@PeterG969...no, it wasn't like that at all; they weren't poking fun; soccer has grown a lot in the US, but it was a very comical piece. Here in the US, people do the same with football's (our football)Super Bowl or Baseball's World Series but because soccer is the world's most popular sport the same thing becomes global rather than merely the same problem we have here merely on a national level. They weren't ridiculing anyone; sorry if I made it sound that way.

for the racism bit i tihnk each side gets as good as they get.eg white people call black folk pakis while pakis call white folk snowmen
If they were that bothered they would not go to the football games anyway but i tihnk putting undercover cops in the crowd is a good idea.

Well I think the rascisim thing is important issue to be dealt with. But at the same time I think football is the most great sport to show unity in diversity for world powers to view for their choices. I love football because of the diversity and team play that all have from all around the world.

i think germany might to it this year. they came close in 2002, and i think the home ground advantage might be enought to push em over to win. if not germany, the Brazil.

I'm supporting England and they'er going to get to the Semi-Finals against Brazil.Lose out to Brazil and then it'll be Argentina vs Brazil in the final and probably Brazil to win.

I'm with you Rav...England all the way. I don't know a damned thing about soccer save to say that I like to watch it. Having grown up in Quebec, I was raised on hockey (without these silly rules we have in the US) and I really don't like US sports much ... baseball can be o.k. and I just can't understand american football. Soccer is catching on here but it will never make it big because there aren't enough breaks to get up every ten minuits to buy food and stuff your face..... which, not baseball, is the true american passtime LOL! (Don't swear at me guys...just having a little fun!)

I think Brazil will do it again. But there's going to be surprises, Czech Republic, Italy and England. Germany will be great in the next cup. All these are great teams. Overall, there will be great plays in this cup.
