Ahhh, now things are hottin' up - lots of AM2 CPUs and motherboards in stock, as we speak. But Conroe - yikes! that Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe) CPU put a nasty beating on the FX-62, did you see that over at Tommy's: http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/06/05/first_benchmarks_conroe_vs_fx-62/ Whooped up on it somethin' bad, LoL :^) Ouch that stings. Keep in mind, they sell FX-62s for $1444.99 and just the bloody tax on this CPU is ~$200 bucks! (Canadian.) Conroe motherboards with Intel 975X chipset are already available, right now. So how about that: AMD has a new Socket but same CPU; meanwhile, Intel rolls out a whole new CPU, but - same socket! Unbelievable that AMD guys are changing motherboards, not Intel guys, LoL. Conroe's coming! About time, too...
Heck yeah.. today is the 9th of june, and i cant flippin wait any longer.. bye bye AMD, for now.... lol and those conroes were spanking the amd's but if you noticed, the AM2's dont preform as well as the 939's...
