Hi all, long time no see,

i need to get a wireless router for an always on broadband connection, the modem ive got has an ethernet port built in, i was wondering would i be able to just hook an access point up to the modem or would i have to get a router with a built in modem?

if i need to get one with a built in modem what would you reccomend (im not really looking to spend any more than £50 if possible)

    thanx in advance peeps

you cant really get a modem and router for under 50 quid together. For a good one you are looking at about 100 quid

@syphertek,Nice to see you posting again it's certainly been a while!
If your looking for a descent/cheap router you could look up the SMC Barricade. It's wired(not sure if thats what you want) Any way, mine has been serving me well for about 6 months now.

    Best of luck.

OOPS! Never mind I see your looking for wireless.(I need more coffee!)

For a good priced, wireless modem/router go for a linksys WAG54GS with speedbooster. you can pick one up for about £60 with a wireless usb adapter.

Thats what i have and is the best ive ever had.
