Downgrade Firmware?

    Well I had a suggestion a few days ago to upgrade my firmware, then after upgrade the same person recommend not upgrade if I wasn't really having any problems. Well I wasn't but it was to late. I had already upgraded. And while I have has some successful burns, I have had more unsuccessful burns then successful burns.

    So in short I want to downgrade firmwares back to the original for the drive..

    Is this possible and if so should I just download the oldest firmware from http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1978 and install it?

    The downgrade should work without a problem, all you are doing is putting new software on the drive so you can go to any version of the firmware that you wish.
