M275 voltage specs

    does anybody know the input voltage specs for a gateway m275 tablet pc? Mine doesnt say anywhere and it didnt come with the manual.

    oh yeah maybe this symbol has something to do with its polarity?

    Replace Gateway Part Numbers: 6500878, FSP150-1ADE11 or PA-1161-06

    Input: 100--240V, 50-60Hz (worldwide use)

    Output: 19V 6.3A

    ok but whats the polarity? is the positive in the inside of the plug or the outside?

    Now your pushing it!!! lol....let me take a look and see.

    Actually, on the back of the laptop, you should see a polarity symbol.

    Looks like this.

    That should tell your center+ or center-.

    I know. I googled that a while back but my idiotic gateway wants to rape me for 140$ so it doesnt have that symbol.

    Oh yeah and the symbol i posted earlier only means DC.

    Ok...I have some conflicting info. Now I show this as specs.

    Input: 100-240V AC 50/60Hz International Compatible
    Output: 19V up to 3.16A / 60W maximum
    Connector: Barrel, Center +


    Went from 6.3A down to 3.16A. The Center+ should be correct though, as it appears all Gateways are the same. (dont qoute me on this......I take no responsibility for damaged caused if I am wrong)

    Sorry....just covering my own a55.

    wow thanks. Im pretty sure your right about gateways being the same tho. will give it a try when my ebay purchase gets here and post results.

    P.S. did anyone see the southpark episode where paris hilton gets shoved up a gay mans a55? lol was extremely funny.
